The answer to more questions than you would think is: more kyanite. That was definitely the case with this necklace. I started with the gorgeous 1.75” ceramic cat pendant. I debated between lapis or kyanite for the feature stone in this necklace. Clearly kyanite won out. I couldn’t get over how gorgeous the sheen and coloring of the kyanite pebbles was with the color variance on the ceramic pendant. And then the sheen and coloring of the 12mm hypersthene coins also was too perfect! The struggle was choosing the other bead. The answer ended up being more kyanite. This time, I used the most incredible rough kyanite sticks. I love the flickers of other colors they have in them!
This necklace is sterling silver. I’d like to draw your attention to the different way the coins and sticks are wire wrapped. I had a lot of fun with that.
This necklace is approximately 19 ¼” long. It fastens with a toggle clasp. It would be quite simple to add an extender chain and different clasp though, so please don’t hesitate to ask.
