I’ve always been enchanted with the idea of fairies in the garden. Growing up, I loved the movie “A Fairy Tale.” The little found object cottage they made for the fairies was the most wonderful thing I’ve ever seen. For this necklace, I started with the pewter fairy pendant by Green Girl Studios. The soft purple of the czech glass tulips was so beautiful to me with the silver pewter. I had them earmarked for another project, but when the beads speak, you must listen! The rough prehnite also spoke to me. I love the rawness of it next to the rest of the beads which are very polished. The piece needed something else though, so I selected the beautiful, deep red, marquise cut garnets. In between every bead are 16/0 gold seed beads and 11/0 gold lined seed beads. This necklace is finished in sterling silver. It is adjustable with an extender chain and lobster clasp from 20 ¾” - 22 ½”.
